Extreme Emerging Colour

I made this card back in January for my nephew who was turning 10.  I find boy cards soo difficult, and even worse when they are 10 and past all the 'cute' boy stuff!!  So I decided to go for a really grunge look using the Extreme Elements stamp set.

I used the emerging colour technique, which is a great wee twist on emboss resist!  I distressed all the edges, added some tearing and included that great make staple - Woodgrain stamp set.  I was pretty pleased with how it all turned out, and it was pretty fun to try a new style!

Cardstock: Not quite navy, Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie, Confetti White, Whisper White
