My niece turns 5 this weekend, so this is the card I put together for her. Her favourite colour is blue, and she loves a bit of sparkle so what better time to use some of the new Supernova Glitter.
To apply my glitter I just placed a length of Sticky Strip right across the card and then sprinkled on the glitter. This clever & simple technique was shown by Marelle Taylor at Convention.
The little bird is from the So Tweet On Board Chipboard set, and I have just covered him with some Good Morning Sunshine DSP. Covering chipboard is something I have done for several years, but it was demonstrated at Convention by Jill Kocherhans from the Stampin' Up! head office, and it was really interesting to see how other people do it- I certainly picked up a few good tips.
Materials
Stamps: Cheep Talk, Occasional Greetings
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Whisper White, Good Morning Sunshine DSP
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Basic Grey
Other: Sticky Strip, Supernova Glitter, Word Window Punch, So Tweet On Board Chipboard, Rhinestone Brad
