Merry Christmas & Sale-a-Bration!

Stamped Candle

I made some festive candles as part of the xmas tins we are giving family this year.



These are ridiculously easy to make. Simply stamp your image on white tissue paper, and colour as wished (I gold embossed mine). Cut close to your image and wrap around candle, wrap a layer of baking paper over stamped image and hold tightly at the back of candle. Heat candle until tissue paper goes translucent (don't over heat or you will have a puddle of wax, rather than a pretty candle!) Remove baking paper. All done!

Where has the year disappeared to??? It was my little girls 1st Birthday on Friday, so here is the card I made her.

It is using a fabulous new stamp set called Time Well Spent. This set was given to all Stampin' Up! demonstrators as a thank you gift - how cool is that! It will be in next years new Idea Book & Catalogue.

I stamped the images on the back of vellum and then watercoloured them using my inkpad lids and a blender pen. This gives a really lovely subtle effect when you turn the vellum over.

Crackers anyone?

Xmas Crackers I mean!

These are super easy and so much fun to make. And making your own also means you get to fill them with whatever goodies you like. I have made a bundle of these crackers to make up part of the xmas gifts we are giving family this year. I will share pics of the full gifts when I have finished them!

Pink Flair!

Another card using sets from the Summer Mini. THis time I have used the French Flair background stamp to stamp the front of my card before embellishing with images from the Carte Postale set, and some pretty stitched ribbon from the Sweet Shop Ribbon Originals pack.

Simple and Elegant

A very basic but still elegant looking card using the Carte Postale stamp set and Enchante Designer Series Paper.

Love Matters - it really does!

I made this bright and funky card to hide in my husbands planner at some stage in the future. I like to brighten his work day every now and then , and the bright colours on this card should definately do it.



All the images are from the new Love Matters set in the Summer Mini Catalogue. I stamped the hearts on various shades of cardstock and then cut them out to make the cute little border (this is a great way to use those little scraps!)

Carte Postale

This is my favourite set from the new Summer Mini Catalogue. So versatile and classic in design. This has to be one of the simplest cards to make, but it looks so effective.
